What this tool does
The Text Cleaner helps make copied or pasted text more consistent. It can collapse repeated spaces or tabs, remove empty lines, trim spaces at the start and end of each line, or apply the combined cleanup. It does not rewrite the meaning of your content.
How to use it
- Paste the text you want to tidy.
- Choose one cleanup action, or use Clean all for the combined cleanup.
- Review the result in the text area.
- Select Copy cleaned text to copy it for use elsewhere.
Useful for
Cleaning text copied from PDFs, emails, word processors, websites, and notes before editing or publishing.
TipClean all removes blank lines. If paragraph spacing matters, use a less aggressive action and review the result before copying.
Privacy note: Text processing is performed in your browser by this tool; the tool code does not send your entered text to an external text-processing API. Your browser, hosting setup, or other website plugins may still process data according to their own settings.
